Graduated Licensing Program
For students who have never driven before, the GLP Diamond package is designed for the inexperienced, nervous, unconfident, and unpracticed driver. If you will not be practicing at all between lessons or have no one else to drive with, this is the package for you. Including the same initial lessons as the other GLP Packages, it also includes extended highway driving, emergency maneuvers, gravel road driving, and a minimum of 2 Simulated Practice Tests. We will help you get your BC Driver’s License. Read below for full details.
The Graduated License Program (GLP) is accredited by ICBC and allows participating students to take the test to graduate to their Class 5 license 6-months earlier than non-GLP students, providing that they drive prohibition and accident free during their Class 7N phase. The GLP also provides two grade 11 credits to participating students.
Please remember to leave ample time for lessons and a Road Test. In the spring and summer months, we regularly book a minimum of one month in advance.
You will need to specify a classroom session when registering. Lessons are 1 hour in length unless otherwise specified. Road Tests (RT) lessons are two hours in length – a one hour warm up and use of car for test. If a student is not successful on their first ICBC Road Test attempt, all GLP Packages include one complimentary Warm-Up and the use of a PG Driving For Life car for a second test, OR a single one-hour refresher prior to a second test, schedule permitting. Prices are subject to change without notice. We will book the ICBC road test for you, but ICBC fees are the responsibility of the student and are not included in the cost of the package. Please read this ICBC Student Consent and Release Form which the student will be required to sign.

PG Driving For Life Academy Ltd. is committed to teaching students the skills necessary to drive safely, responsibly, and defensively in a comfortable and respectful environment.
I strongly feel that PG Driving for Life Academy provided me the knowledge, skill, and confidence to enable me to pass my driving test on my first attempt, which happened to occur on the snow-packed, icy December Prince George roads.
Both my son and daughter went through the 12-month program that Driving for Life offers. They enjoyed the instructor’s advice as well as their company. They both successfully passed their N test with ease on the first try, mostly due to the instructor’s professional knowledge and their confidence in my children. Both children also took the GLP program (an in-class program that teaches more road safety and other driving tips) that Chris and Bev also provide at PGD4L. This gave me peace of mind that my children would be very responsible as well as confident drivers; which they are. A bonus for them… the GLP Program got them 6 months off of their N! Driving for Life is an incredible program. Highly recommend any parents of new drivers or anyone that has any apprehension and wants to improve their driving skills to refer to PG Driving For Life Academy Ltd. Thanks PGD4L!
Chris and his team are fantastic. I took lessons from them prior to getting my Class 7N, and a refresher again before getting my Class 5. I was an extremely nervous ‘older’ driver the first time I worked with Chris, and his patience and guidance helped me achieve something I thought I’d never do – drive confidently! I cannot recommend Driving For Life enough and rave about them to everyone I know. Thanks for everything!
